A rematch of the Great Lakes Regional final will decide the winner of the Little League World Series.
Ohio and Michigan have fought through the LLWS brackets to reach the final stage, the championship game. It’s a bit different than past years where an American team reaches the final to face an international team, but that will not happen this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But in the first Little League World Series championship game in two years, there is still plenty of excitement to be had in the matchup. There is a rivalry element between the two states (see: Buckeyes-Wolverines) and the revenge factor as Ohio looks to rebound after it lost the Great Lakes Regional final 9-1.
